Artists in Schools 2019: Free Fresh Water

Watch this commercial created by students in MoCADA’s 2019 Artists in Schools program (from five Central Brooklyn public schools). In 2019, students in the program explored art to explain why restoring basic human necessities in their communities is so important. Culminating in the exhibition, Reclaiming What’s Mine: Food, Water, and Shelter (as inspired by Maxine Waters), PS 315 students (led by teaching artist Denae Howard) created a water company and this video to support their vision of clean water access for all.
