Little Africa Paris US Book Tour & Book Signing

In 2016, Little Africa Paris published the City Guide-Africa in Paris in English and French language versions. This book was the first comprehensive guide of retail businesses, restaurants, cultural attractions and events by the African diaspora in Paris. Initially printed at 3000 copies, the book was sold out within 4 months and had to be printed again at 3000 more copies. The book rapidly gained fans around the world with orders spanning from Europe, Asia, America, and even Australia. The book was so unique than the press coverage of that first edition was outstanding. More than 100 press releases covered by the biggest media platform such as Reuters, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Africa News, Huffington Post, RFI, Jeune Afrique, Okay Africa, CCTV in China!… On December 10th, 2018, the second edition to the City Guide- Africa in Paris was released. The need to highlight and provide visibility for the vibrant but often ignored Afro-Parisian led Jacqueline to write a second edition that is a MANIFESTO OF LOVE to this beautiful community that is ‘Paris Beyond The Postcard.’

As part of the promotion for the second edition, Little Africa Paris is embarking on our US book to say ‘thank you’ to the African-American travel community.  They have been a significant customer base for the guide book, and we want them to know that ‘we see you and appreciate you’. They have been our first and foremost international customers on Little Africa’s tour experiences in Paris.  We hope that our book tour is able to convey a snapshot of what it means to be African and French in Paris. At its essence, our tour is about communing with the African-American community that has been following and supporting us since day one.
