Sanaa at MoCADA

Join us for a night in celebration of SANAA, the premier grassroots collective that promotes social awareness, activism, and the arts centered on Black people, and the release of Yaya Bey’s new album.

‘Sanaa came out of necessity, it came from a deep need for truth when the world kept saying I needed to adhere to the rules of whiteness, patriarchy, and capitalism. When the world kept suggesting that elitism and gatekeeper culture had the final say over my destiny, that there was no way to build an artist community around genuine love and joy … Sanaa came. I’m so happy to have Sanaa at Mocada this Saturday February 16th and to share this moment back with my friends Run P., Dj Nativesun, VZN, RahRah Gabor and Roni Bradley.’  – Yaya Bey

The festivities will include beloved DJ’s and a few performances by rising artists. Come out and show your support.
