Here’s your chance to dive deep into the Black History and culture of Fort Greene, led by local historian Suzanne Spellen, with a special stop at MoCADA. It’s a guided tour through the heart of Black Fort Greene through the lens of its history makers and cultural giants. Presented by the Fort Greene Park Conservancy and Myrtle Avenue BID, this dynamic walking tour provides residents and visitors with a fuller history and context about our neighborhood from the 1800’s to today.
Join us for a personal, on-the-ground look at the cultural and historical context of our neighborhood. Meet us at the park.
