MoCADA will host poets and performers who identify with the African Diaspora for an evening of plenty and growth. We invite artists to read works that consider relationships with agriculture. As we recall black and brown communities’ history with land and food, we can take stock of where we’re from and what we’re made of.
We’re pleased to have The Free Black Woman’s library joining us, so be sure to bring a book to swap! Join us in the MoCADA backyard for light refreshments.
