WHAT: MoCADA Radio Live!
WHEN: February 28 @ 3pm – 7pm
WHERE: MoCADA Culture Lab II, 10 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn, 11217

SCHEDULE

SAY3 (@sayesystem)
TIME: 3PM
SAY3 Presents “Somethin’ Guetto”: The show will feature the past, present and the future of Batida, an Angolan-rooted, Afro-diasporic electronic musical style that grew from the underground in Lisbon, Portugal.

EPIC B (@itsjustepicb)
TIME: 4PM
Lo-Hall Radio with Epic B: Lo-Hall is short for lo-fi + dancehall. It describes a sound that lives on the softer side of rhythm. Warm and intentional, with melodies stretched and grooves that settle into the body instead of rushing past it, Epic B takes the pulse of dancehall and slows it just enough for the feelers to settle in.

MELO-X (@Meloxtra)
TIME: 5PM
MTA RADIO by MELO-X: MTA Radio by MELO-X draws from Brooklyn and the larger New York City Area’s underground DJ culture and the global diaspora to examine the evolution of remix, genre-blending, and sound system traditions across dancehall, hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and alternative music.

KAMAAL  (@Kamaal)
TIME: 6PM
From the Blackest Cloth: kamaal delivers a cross-generational ambient mix of deconstructed classics and sounds from cutting-edge electronic and r&b music.
