Event Details

Plan a stop at MoCADA’s Ubuntu Garden during your tour through FAB Fulton’s ART360º art crawl. Then join us for a session of Public Exchange: Free Earth, where our resident team of plant nerds, LIVIN, will host a plant giveaway and free potting workshop for the community!

Date: Saturday, May 18
Time: 12-4pm
Location: MoCADA Ubuntu Garden, 48 Lafayette Avenue, at the corner of Fort Greene Place, Brooklyn.

Inspired by the power of plants—from their healing chemistry to their spirit of communal care, LIVIN will be on site offering plants for various requirements, as well as materials needed for the workshop, guidance on the right plants, instructions on how to pot plants into vessels/planters, and care instructions. Free plants and pots will be available on-site on a first-come, first-serve basis for those who attend the workshop. There will also be plants available for sale on-site, or bring a plant and pot to learn more at the workshop.

Workshop slots are limited! To attend, please click the LEARN MORE link below to RSVP and save your spot.
This event is made possible thanks to generous gifts from NYC City Parks Green Fund, NYC Coalition for Theaters of Color, ConEdison, and M&T Bank, and NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.
