Event Details

MoCADA’s Soul of Brooklyn returns as a Juneteenth block party in 2021, to celebrate freedom, community, and the diverse arts and cultures of Brooklyn’s African Diaspora.
 
This socially-distanced, outdoor event will feature art-making activities for kids, and programs for all including wellness and dance workshops, musical performances, and special activations in partnership with local arts organizations and rising Black creatives. Health screenings and vaccine distribution will also be available on site.

 

Free and open to the public, but you must RSVP. (We are keeping this event intimate to ensure our community’s safety at all times.) Masks required to attend.
