Developed from the Initiativ Radio Show, the New Black History Makers is a brand that uses different mediums such as podcasts, clothing, and community events to celebrate Black people operating on paths our ancestors paved, while paving the way for the generations to come.

This year we are hosting a Discussion Tour across Los Angles and in New York City. The Tour spotlights black-owned businesses by hosting live-recorded conversations in their establishment. Each conversation aims to develop ways we can better serve our community.

For this conversation we are bringing together 5 incredible Black Women to discuss moves we as a community and culture should make to help bring about a paradigm shift. Our panelist are Adia Braz, Taylor Barfield, Ryen Watkins, Jasmine Davis, and Amy Andrieux. With this group we will be able to touch on finances, business, wellness, art, beauty, education and sports, to name a few. This is a community event, so the conversation will not just exist between the panelists but we are also encouraging the audience to engage with us and share their own perspective. We ultimately want you to leave connected to more folks and empowered to go back into your day to day with more insight on how we can all push our community and culture in a positive direction.
