Open Call

MoCADA Open Call gives emerging, mid-career and established artists the opportunity to expand their portfolios and develop a relationship with the museum by realizing a project in collaboration. In 20+ years, MoCADA has collected hundreds of artist submissions from working artists throughout Africa and the Diaspora.

We invite all creators who identify with our mission to submit ideas, which, if selected, will be funded and produced by MoCADA, and included in our programming.

This includes exhibitions in our galleries, as well as lectures, film screenings, performances, podcasts, community conversations, and workshops that illuminate the contributions and multiplicity of the Black experience in dynamic ways.
