TOURS

Guided Tours follow an educational thread where visitors are led through MoCADA exhibitions and interactive workshops in effort to gain greater understanding of the arts and cultures of the African Diaspora. STANDARD TOURS
Tours are adapted based on the changing exhibitions and focus on particular themes, often relating to current events and contemporary culture. Tour groups can range from 5-30 people, with at least 1 adult chaperone for every 10 students. Tours are available Wednesday through Sunday, between the hours of 12:00PM and 6:00PM. Tours generally last one hour and offer an engaging discussion-based overview of the current exhibition. PREMIUM TOURS
MoCADA also offers a limited number of premium guided tours per exhibition, which are more immersive and interactive, and are led by either a curator or exhibiting artist. Additional course materials for educators are also provided by MoCADA, to further the discussion in the classroom post tour.
