2024 Center for Black Literature Killens Literary Salon
We are thrilled to invite you to the 2024 Killens Salon, an exciting free event hosted by the Center for Black Literature (CBL) in collaboration with The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), featuring acclaimed Young Adult and Middle School authors Ibi Zoboi, Olugbemisola Rhuday-Perkovich, Tracey Baptiste, and Torrey Maldonado. Join us for an evening dedicated to celebrating Young Adult and Middle School literature!
During this interactive community event, the authors will read excerpts from their works and engage with the audience in a lively Q&A. After the readings and discussion, attendees can enjoy a mix and mingle, followed by an author book signing. The authors’ books will be available for purchase on-site, courtesy of CBL’s official bookseller, Cafe Con Libros (Intersectional Feminist Bookstore).
