The 2024 Downtown BK Arts Festival with #SampleSaleMusic
The Downtown Brooklyn Arts Festival (DBAF) is an annual celebration of Downtown Brooklyn’s cultural community and the artists who inspire the borough’s creative spirit. A showcase of acclaimed local arts organizations and artists, DBAF 2024 will take place on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28, and will feature a jam-packed lineup of free outdoor events at The Plaza at 300 Ashland, located at Flatbush and Lafayette Avenues.
Join us for the Downtown Brooklyn Arts Festival closing event, featuring a special performance by #SampleSaleMusic, who will offer an immersive musical journey that showcases the deep influences of jazz, blues, and soul on contemporary sounds. Renowned for their ability to reinterpret both classics and obscure B-sides that underpin the foundations of hip-hop sampling, they craft fresh and innovative artistic experiences that breathe new life into timeless pieces.
Presented in partnership with MoCADA.
