Join us for another session of Public Exchange: Free Earth series, where MoCADA and our resident team of plant nerds, LIVIN, will host a free potting workshop and plant giveaway for the community!

As an act of resistance, in solidarity with the Fall of Freedom‘s nationwide call-to-action and our newest exhibition all about climate + land justice, we will be planting sunflowers, a flower plant that symbolizes, faith, resilience, warmth, longevity and loyalty.

Inspired by the power of plants—from their healing chemistry to their spirit of communal care, MoCADA will be offering free seedlings and materials needed for the workshop, while LIVIN will be on site to provide guidance on how to pot plants into vessels/planters and care instructions. Free seedling plants and pots will be available on-site on a first-come, first-serve basis for those who attend the workshop. There will also be plants and seeds available for sale on-site.
