
ABOUT THE VIDEO
Righteous Jones is a multi-sensory social justice mix series produced by DJ and conceptual artist Run P. that weaves provocative music with thought-provoking soundbites from conversations at the intersection of race, culture, and current events.
This installment of the series entitled Running Out of Time (R.O.OT.) is a collage of voices and visuals that shed light on our closing window of opportunity to come to terms with societal shortcomings concerning climate justice as well as its link to the plight of Black and Indigenous Americans. While discussions continue, members of our community are no longer waiting for conveyor belt solutions. We are taking matters into our own hands to heal the past and ensure our futures.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Run P. is a multi-hyphenated audiophile – DJ, music supervisor, producer, and conceptual artist who creates unique sonic experiences for art, fashion, lifestyle, and nightlife. Through his recurring dance party called QUENCH, which sits at the forefront of NYC’s dance movement, Run champions a progressive soulful blend of electronic sounds and heavy bass lines (house, R&B, hip-hop, electronica, funk, dancehall, Afrobeat, and more). While his retro-themed club night, Fried Dynamite, delivers disco, boogie, and rare grooves. As a music supervisor, Run curates the sound for the Comedy Central-cum-HBO show South Side, the music and audio programming at The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), and other projects that live on various platforms worldwide. Run P. was born, bred, and currently lives in New York City.
